New – No Risk Covid Booking and Cancellation Policy
We understand covid has made it hard to travel, so we want to make it as easy for you to book your next Kaivalya Retreat & Cellular Detoxification experience with us in confidence.
Currently we have extra flexible booking terms and have a covid no-penalty last minute cancellation policy.
You can take advantage of our rate lock guarantee, when you purchase a retreat package, rate is locked in and will not change even if our rates change by the time you attend your retreat.
If your country’s border or the United States or Nicaragua’s border doesn’t open in time for your booked retreat you are welcome to reschedule it at no penalty.
If you are unable to fly at the last minute due to any verifiable covid related issue, such as receiving a positive PCR test or the airline cancelling your flight, you will also be able to reschedule your retreat at no penalty.
Please just note that your retreat package purchase is non-refundable, but your credit is valid for 2 years and can be applied to any US or Nicaragua based location.
The package is also transferrable if you would like to sell your package at the value purchased to someone you know or change the name the package it is under.
After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy hold requires payment within 3 working days to secure the reservation.
For places that have a wait list, a 24hr courtesy hold will be offered.
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Kaivalya Retreat, including postponing or rescheduling.
“You” refers to the guest booking a Kaivalya Retreat.
“We” refers to Kaivalya Retreats.
Nicaragua Location Travel and Cancellation Insurance
To join the Nicaragua retreat you must have travel insurance. htttps://www.worldnomads.com/ Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant activities you will be engaging upon on your retreat & regular trip cancellation issues that are not related to covid.
Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees.
With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
We love and have worked with World Nomads Travel Insurance for years as this covers you for all activities during a Kaivalya Retreat.
Guest Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your trip, Kaivalya Retreats does not offer refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat to be taken within 2 years of your original retreat date. We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest.
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply. (This does not apply to verifiable covid related issues where we understand that travel insurance may not cover a last minute cancellation)
Fees are determined by the following schedule:
If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat.
If you cancel 60 – 89 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 25% of the price of your retreat.
If you cancel 15 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 40% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 60% of the price of your retreat.
If you cancel 14 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.
Kaivalya Retreat Cancellation Policy
If Kaivalya Retreats must cancel a booked retreat date, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payment to us, constituting a full settlement.
Kaivalya Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
